We Care About Wire Craft! Will You Support Us?
Thank you for your willingness to support our activities.
Thanks to your support, we can do things better.
We are non-profit organization concerned to wire art and craft - Slovak phenomenon listed in List of Intangible Heritage UNESCO.
At the moment, we operate entirely on a volunteer basis — everything we do comes from our love for wire craft and tradition. However, without sufficient financial resources, it can sometimes become overwhelming.
Take a look at what we prepare throughout the year:
-
we apply for grants and subsidies — in January 2026, we submitted 9 grant applications; over the next 3–4 months, we will be waiting for funding approvals or rejections
-
we prepare content for social media — photos, videos, and other materials
-
we organize wire craft gatherings
-
we organize an exhibition at the Primate’s Palace in Bratislava, where we welcome over 40 wire artists from different parts of Slovakia every year
-
we run creative workshops and live demonstrations of wire craft
-
we are creating a new multilingual website, where we plan to gradually add educational and informational content about wire craft
-
we are launching the Wire Makers’ House project and searching for various ways to restore the building and create a unique Slovak cultural space
-
we are working to have our activities registered as a Method of Safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia
-
during the exhibition, we carry out a time-consuming project — the creation of a catalogue, a bilingual publication covering both the historical and contemporary world of wire craft
Thanks to your regular or one-time donation, we would be able to place greater emphasis on our projects, become less dependent on grants, and do even more than we currently can.
If you become our supporter, you won’t miss any news from the wire craft world. We will keep you informed about the progress of our projects, and we believe we can build a wonderful and supportive community together.
